Yes. They are subject to a stringent application and accreditation process to check and verify the identity of the cardholder. PASS Cards are recommended by the Home Office and endorsed by the National Chief Police Confederation and the Security Industry Authority.

Each accredited Pass Card issuer is audited twice by an independent auditor before being accredited to the scheme. Card issuers are subject to repeat audits, currently every two years. Accreditation can be removed if the audits are not completed satisfactorily.

All the card listed are equally accredited and bear the PASS hologram to a standard design on the face of the card. You can look at the offer from all the card issuer through the “Apply For Card” on the PASS Website www.pass-scheme.org.uk/card-suppliers
Generally cards cost around £15 but please check on costs on the individual card issuer websites shown at www.pass-scheme.org.uk/card-suppliers
Usually 2/3 weeks but check on your card issuer before you apply. Many card issuers have a fast track process for an extra cost. Again please check with the relevant card issuer
No, but the card issuer will hold your card until a few days before your 18th birthday
Alongside other documentation some banks will accept PASS cards to facilitate the opening of an account but please remember these are Proof of Age cards not proof of identity and may not be acceptable as such
Cards are valid throughout the UK to UK residents and as such cannot be guaranteed to be accepted outside the UK
If you have a residency permit as for example an overseas student you will be eligible to apply for a card
You should contact your card supplier who will be able to replace your card. There may be a small charge.
You should be able to use your PASS Card for domestic flights within the UK. But it will be ultimately down to the individual airline as to whether they will accept the card as valid Photo ID.
